Dull and dry skin is mainly caused by clogged pores and
other skin allergies, which develop due to dirt and unhygienic routine. In
order to achieve a glowing skin, first of all it is necessary to get rid of
this dirt. Try to keep your hands off your face as much as you can, and if
there is a need to touch it then was your hands thoroughly before doing so. The
dirt from your hands may cause a break out. Wash your hands before applying
anything on your face.
Secondly, try to keep your makeup to the minimum. Too much
use or daily use of foundation and face powders may result in clogged pores,
which then becomes an important issue behind uneven skin tone. Always protect
your face before applying makeup with a moisturizer, and cleanse your face
thoroughly with cleansing milk or cleansing lotion when you remove your makeup.
Also, if a foundation develops irritation or reddens the skin, discontinue use
immediately.
Apply sunscreen when you leave the house as well as in the
house. Sunscreen helps to protect your skin from the harmful effects of sunlight
and its UV rays. Also apply sunscreen on your lips to save the moisture and
prevent burns.
Keep your hair off your face as much as you can. Hair oils
are another reason for clogged pores and they result in acne. Always cleanse
your face in the morning with a deep clean cleanser as your skin has been
rubbing on a pillow all night filled with bacteria and hair dregs. Also cleanse
your skin before going to bed in order to rid it off the pollution of the day.
Never go to bed with your makeup on, nothing is more harmful for your skin.
While cleansing your face always wash your face with warm
water in order to open the pores wide and deep clean. When you are done wash
your face with cold water to close the opened pores and keep them clean.
Exfoliate your skin at least once a week in order to remove the layer of dead
skin cells and rid it of other impurities.
Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water a day. Also
maintain a routine of cardio exercise, it will help to in the circulation of
blood and give your skin a healthy glow. Also eat lots of fruits and other
protein rich vegetables.
